To promote the general welfare of the Mill Brook community by identifying common concerns and taking strategic action to enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Who We Are

The Mill Brook Civic Association, Inc. is a community-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the residents of the Mill Brook community within the Town of Hempstead, New York. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, we serve as a unified voice for our neighborhood, ensuring that the interests of our residents are represented and protected.

What We Do

Our primary goal is to develop strategies and take meaningful action that benefit our community and its members. We achieve this by:

• Providing a Community Forum: Offering a dedicated space for residents to discuss issues of common concern and share ideas for neighborhood improvement.
• Promoting Resident Involvement: Encouraging participation in local events, programs, and activities that strengthen community connections.
• Advocating for Community Welfare: Monitoring local developments and addressing concerns that impact the safety, well-being, and quality of life of our residents.

Our Core Values

To ensure we serve every member of our community with integrity, the Mill Brook Civic Association operates under a strict code of neutrality. All of our activities and forums are non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-political.

Membership

The Association is powered by its members. Membership is open to all persons eighteen (18) years of age and older residing within the Mill Brook community. We believe that collective involvement is the most effective way to foster a safe, vibrant, and welcoming neighborhood.

Our Nonprofit Commitment

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Mill Brook Civic Association is committed to serving the public good through civic engagement, community advocacy, educational initiatives, neighborhood improvement projects, and volunteer service. Donations made to the Association help support programs and activities that enhance the quality of life for Mill Brook residents and strengthen our community for future generations.
